Tornado Outbreak in Illinois! | June 11th, 2026

Much more to come from this prolific tornado outbreak spanning parts of north-central and northeast Illinois on June 11th. Started the day with Colin Davis and Gabe Cox as we watched the first storm of the day erupt near Peoria, but we all scattered and dispersed immediately after the first tornado touched down and roamed the tornado playground on our own. It felt absolutely surreal to be completely alone out there most of the time surrounded by big rotating storm bases producing significant tornadoes.
