John Homenuk of Empire Weather Consulting already published a great video taking a look at the overall background state of the atmosphere as we head into Spring 2024. I'm not mad about the outlook he's giving, either.
I noticed yesterday that John had shared a new video titled "This Week in Storm Chasing". In the video, John takes a look at the week's upcoming severe thunderstorm prospects, but does so through the lens of the storm chaser hoping to see photogenic supercell thunderstorms. This promises to be a really fun video series to follow along with through the spring storm chasing season.
Beyond that, I'm not going to give away anything about his thoughts regarding whether you should or should not be headed to Illinois tomorrow afternoon - that's for you to digest and figure out.
