It’s still early in the ground-truth game as reports begin trickling in, but the visuals weren’t good as an intense circulation tracked through densely populated areas of the northern Clarksville, Tennessee metro area just after 2 PM CT.
Google Maps traffic data showed significant traffic build-ups near the junction of Interstate 24 and Highway 104/Clarksville Road where it appears the tornado may have crossed.
Unfortunately, there are quite a few densely populated areas along the apparent path of the tornado. From here, we’ll wait for reports from the ground.
